Devan Ahart is the founder of Hitting 2.0 and a former professional baseball player who reached the Double-A level in the Los Angeles Dodgers organization. A proud Oakland County native, Devan combines high-level playing experience with a passion for helping the next generation of hitters develop with purpose.
After a standout collegiate career at the University of Akron, he was selected by the Dodgers in the 2014 MLB Draft. Over his pro career, Devan posted a .295 career batting average, known for his consistency, plate discipline, and ability to adjust at every level.
Following his playing career, Devan transitioned into coaching—working with players from 8U through college, including a stint as an assistant coach at Wayne State University. His instruction blends modern technology with game-tested knowledge, using tools like Blast Motion and video analysis to unlock each hitter’s potential.
